* To clear or not too clear?

To clear or not too clear?

When we have been working with energy long enough, we get a feeling for it. We can understand other people better by 'reading' their energy, and it just takes a little practice to know if you're doing it right.

First, realize that most people cannot "see" energy at first. Those who can are like 5 star chefs; it's not only talent but schooling and practice that puts you there, so don't kick yourself if you can't do it. Many people begin with trying to 'feel' the energy with their hands. Sometimes people here it as an underlying buzz in the air. Everyone interprets it differently, so experiment with it.

Once you figure out how to feel energy, you can learn to "read" energy by running just the smallest amount of it thru your own chakra path. The immediate emotional response you get when you do this should be the exact feeling that the person you are reading has. Easy enough, huh? Just don't forget to ground out that energy when you are done. And practice, practice, practice. (Practice is easier when you are learning with a friend.)

But when you find that someone has blockages, energy that isn't moving in their system, (which means it won't move in yours when you put it there) you may feel the urge to reach out and pull it from them. This is fine as long as you keep 2 things in mind;

#1. Pulling energy from someone will change the way they are currently thinking and put them on the path to healing (at the very least) and/or change their entire attitude for the long term (at the very best.

#2. YOU are responsible for the reaction that this may create within the person whose energy you played with. If you open it up, be prepared to stick around to close it.

What this means is that before you get into someone else's energy, ask yourself if you have the time, energy, inclination, and motivation to stick with this person for the hours it may take for them to unload garbage from their past. If you are not the counselling type, don't play with other people's energy.

If this person is your partner, roommate, offspring, or anyone else you have to deal with on a daily basis, it makes it a bit easier to help them. However, the rule still applies, and you better beleive you play a personal role in the mythology that supports it. If you mess with the energy of someone who is a regular in your circle, be ready to be blamed, insulted, interrogated in return, cried on, yelled at, etc. If you think you can handle this and help this person through his/her hot spots, it can strengthen a relationship like nothing else. The rule here is: Don't move any energy unless you can put it back where it needs to be.
