Opening Critter Parade and
Stage Blessing
Grab
your animal masks, costumes, and robes, and head on down to Ousel for the
Opening Ritual Critter Parade led by Wild Bill McBunny & our Kidsbooth crew.
This year we will begin at the Kidsbooth, parade through the Palisades, down
Old Crow Road, and then hook back around Acoustic Avenue to the main stage. This
shorter route will be easier for tiny legs. We use the energy from the parade
to bless the stage and sacred circle. Join us Thursday night for a spectacular
festival event.
Main
Ritual: "LOVE!"
What
is Love? Where do we find it? What should we do with it? Is Love about one-on-one,
family, or community? Is Love something we always strive for, or
will it come to us if we are patient? Our 10 ritualists lead us
through some ways to find Love, connect with Love, and give Love in
return. The central song this year is "Revival" by the Allman
Brothers, as played by Dale Morris and company.
Our main rituals are always active, musically enhanced, and fully
participatory. Appropriate attire is whatever you can dance in.
Suitable for all age groups, our magick is always aimed at larger
social issues that need the boost of energy. Past rituals have
included "The Polluters," "The Fallen Ones," "Peace," and "People
Power."
Tantric Temple Opening Ritual Puja
If you've never attended a
puja ritual before, this is a great time to do so. A traditional
puja is the enticing ceremony held directly before the act of Tantric
lovemaking. Priestess Sienna and Reverend Feathers bring in the
sacred energy of the God Shiva and the Goddess Shakti to bless the
festival in this interactive, seductive ritual, held in the Tantric
Temple at midnight. Share gifts with the Sacred Male and Female
energies in this space. Honor, flirt, adore, and be a part of these
sacred actions. This rite is typically some of the most intense
magickal energy of the festival.
Pre-ritual meditation at Temple Village at 11 pm, immediately before
the Puja. All who are intent on attending the Puja must attend the
pre-ritual meditation.
Ending Ritual
Sienna leads us on a meditation
that packs the energy up with us so we can take it back home for the
season.
