I had searched for a long time for teachers who could help me explore the mysterious but very real experiences of my life. My understanding of life is firmly based in scientific theory but this seemed to be on the same continuum as what I define as magick. I have taken many classes through MAGIC and have found Sienna to consistently be a logical and trust-worthy teacher. She encourages the individual development of each person using straight-forward lessons based on scientific principles. For me, it was the first time someone thought my ideas not only made sense but had a reasonable explanation. The insights I have experienced through MAGIC have truly enriched my life and I would highly recommend  Sienna, or any of the teachers at MAGIC , to any students of the mystical. They say when the student is ready the teacher will come - for many Sienna has been that teacher. She was for me.

         I just wanted to say and express a very heartfelt thank you for all that you have done for me over the past couple of years. You were so generous with your time, wisdom, love, and support. You were the beginning of my tantric awakening, as you represented a profound turning point in my life. Before my profound experiences with ED, New Warrior, Margot's LET and Yin &Yang, IMAGO, and Hoffman there was you. Things have definitely changed for me a lot in the past couple of years for the better. I now have a career, a life, and a tantric path for me to follow in, as I am coming into my own as a tantric dakini.

         My body has learned to relax in high states of arousal thanks to your inner guidance. I have experienced moments of bliss, inner peace, happiness, altered states of consciousness, and more recently rapturous states of ecstasy. I have changed from a scared frightened wounded little boy into a blazing wild sexual tantric man. Thank you again for what all you have done for me.

I was introduced to the laughing bird as a fledgling by a friend who noticed I was interested in esoteric teachings, and i met alot of great people willing to teach in open and sublime contexts.  Therein, I met a lovely lady, Priestess Sienna, who was more that willing to introduce me to a system of knowledge that I was more than eager to assimilate with... even if temporarily.  I was introduced to a lot of great stuff and not only was i corrupted by my own darknesses, i overcame them and utilized them by what i gained in this community.

         I am a pagan who now has taken B.O.M. 1 and going through Wicca 101.  Born and raised Catholic.  I have no ill will for "the Church".  I just felt not involved and not able to participate with the society that was with in the group.  Every one was separate and even though you might be able to talk with them they never got close to you.  I felt judged and alone.  I have always had the gift of sight.  Never was able to express it through my catholic faith.  I had all the saints but never felt close to them.  I had a belief in God and Jesus that others did not have.  That they were part of me and very human, the divine within myself.  I went to a few rituals, took classes, here I am.  I am pagan with some catholic twist.  My saints are now interpreted to some of the gods and goddess which they came from.  The ideas of nature and love of the earth that was taught to me by my father I can now embrace. The teachings of Jesus, Buddha and other great men and women are now in my heart.  My sight is clearer.  My happiness has grown.  I am more in tune with my self. Blessed be.

Sienna:

         You asked about my experiences with MAGIC, the classes I took and how it impacted my life.  For me it was a crazy time of growth and it would not have been the same with out your love and support.  I put into it as much as was given to me.  How I see it is you get what you work for.  I asked the goddess for the truth and I told her I was ready to walk my path unshielded and with out rosie colored glasses.  She brought me to Laughing Bird and you have seen what has happened to me since. 

         As far as teachers go you and Feathers are the only ones I take classes from on a long term bases.  I felt that you knew what you were doing, flying by the seat of your pants, hee hee.  I was able to see that you knew your stuff and your could think quick on your feet.  Your 'no shit' attitude I think also helps, either you are serious and you learn something, or you're not and you don't.   It is definitely some thing you have to be committed to or it is not worth your time.  The down to earth feel helps to make everyone feel a part and that they were all here on equal grounding.  The Basic Magic series got the juices flowing, it helped me to focus my energy and intent.  I feel that they were definitely worth my time.

          What I learned from the class's I could apply to my everyday life. I have read and attended other classes on the subject of Tantra, the classes I took from Sienna and Feather equaled if not surpassed the others. My only regret was that the classes were over.

         It's too bad we dont live in a time where Tantra is the norm. So there could be a huge thriving community of like-mindedness. Namaste

         I have a mantra. When I start to get absorbed in drama that is extraneous to my life, I breathe, sink back in my head and chant "It's-a Not-a My Problem, Hum!" Sienna taught me this.

         I was hardly ever her student, officially. I was her roommate. We would bounce bad puns off of each other while trying to cook in the same kitchen. Occasionally I would complain about various things that were bothering me, and she would point out that most of these things had nothing to do with me at all. I usually didn't agree, and we would have psycho-philosophical debates about this. Now that I'm living 3,000 miles away and realizing that she was right, I use this concept in my daily life. I enjoy work, I make things easier for my coworkers, and my relationships are better because I deal wholeheartedly with things that are mine to deal with, and leave the other issues for who they belong to. And when someone is freaking out about something beyond their ability to control, I simply say to them, "Well, yeah, but that's not your problem," and they melt and calm down almost instantly. Most people are less stubborn than me.

        II started studying paganism and magick early in college. I read many books but was never able to really work magick or sense this energy all the books were talking about. I finally signed up for Basics of Magick, a class offered by Sienna through MAGIC. Admittedly I was a bit nervous to attend. I am so happy I did. The classes gave me the physical knowledge and hands on experience you cannot get from books. I learned how to manipulate energy, see that energy around people, as well as learn to be more sensitive to things around me. Much of the basics I learned through this class I have expanded on. The foundations I learned are invaluable, not only in the magickal and spiritual realms, but in every aspect of my life. Working with Sienna opened new doors for me.

I am a Catholic and still consider myself such. Unfortunately, the Catholic religion and other Christian religions do not offer or teach how to truly feel, hear and experience God. Since my exposure to Sienna, The Laughing Bird, and "MAGIC", I have learned to honor "all ways" in "all ways". I honor individual ways to experience God. Sienna and The Bird's classes have taught me the ability to hear, feel and experience God - an accomplishment I was never able to reach before, even though I longed for it so. To feel true inner peace, to share that peace with others, to experience and honor my own truth, to honor others' truth.

My favorite experience with this metaphysical community is experiencing and feeling the energies of Mother Earth. Wow. You can feel the energy run up and down your spine. Quite exhilirating. The energy rushes through your soul and ends up on your lips as a blissful smile and runs down to your feet as a graceful dance - a dance to feel and experience the God of your own personal understanding.
