About M.A.G.I.C.

The Mystic Arts Gathering and Information Circle (M.A.G.I.C.) is an eclectic, open to the public, pagan circle that meets 8 times a year on the solstices, equinoxes, and cross quarter days. With the passing of Winter Solstice 2005, we have been meeting for 11 years! These meetings are free, but we do pass a donation can around to help make further meetings possible.

Rituals are performed by anyone who would like to give it a try, so it's different each time. The group meets at 7:00 on the closest Saturday to the Solstices and Wiccan Holidays.

Our temple is a Federally recognized 501c3 non-profit religious organization. Because we hold this special status, it is possible for us to legally ordain clergy. Our ordination standards are more strict than most pagan churches, requiring that the candidate show leadership and responsibility skills within the community. MAGIC also sponsors a spiritual, music, environmental festival called Spiral Rhythms - http://www.spiralrhythms.org/. We bring in authors, musicians, vendors, and Earth Worshippers of all kinds for a common cause. It's a great networking opportunity for new people. Intro to Tantra Class

Sunday, Sept. 16th, 2007 1:00-3:00 pm
Healthquest, SE 39th, Portland Oregon. (just North of Hawthorne)

This is a series of 6 classes, held every 2 weeks, with an optional 7th lesson at the end. We will go through the basic concepts of Skydancing Tantra in a sacred, safe, fun environment. We explain the concepts of Pranayama, chakras, Karezza, Kundalini, puja, Maithuna, and other Tantric exercises that will enlighten and expand your enjoyment of Sacred Sexuality. This class is suitable for singles, couples, straight, gay, bi or ? people. There is no in-class nudity, however, we do give out lots of fun homework! $45 per person per lesson, payable as we go or in advance. Discounts for couples or groups, and for paying for the series in advance. There are a few scholarship spaces available on a first-come, first-served basis.
