Who we are and why we’re here

We have arrived at this meeting for many reasons, each as individual as we are. We have found our way here after realizing we had a problem, which has manifested itself in an addiction of some sort in our lives. We may have tried Traditional 12-Step programs, and for our own personal reasons found them unable to meet a specific need, or what we desire for our own recovery. We may have found our way here without any prior experience with 12-Step programs.

We are Pagan in our Spiritual beliefs. We find more connectedness to earth based Spirituality than we do to any others. Often times, our Spiritual beliefs are the very reason we do not find what we need from other traditional 12-Step programs. As good as those programs are, for us, they seem to lack a primary element, which would make them ‘whole.'

Our purpose is to provide a place of recovery that combines what is good about other 12-Step programs, with our Spiritual beliefs ... and, in the process, takes the traditional 12-Steps a bit further.

As Pagans, we tend to stretch the limits of traditional anything. We desire to go beyond the ‘norm.' We look at our worlds differently than most. We see the connectedness between ourselves and the worlds beyond us. We have felt the powers of the Spirit within and without. We seek more than just ‘sanity' ... we seek balance.

We believe that when we restore balance; we will become ‘whole.' This program is designed to help us restore the balance within ourselves as well as the balance between ourselves and the worlds around us. Our ultimate goal is achieving a level of recovery that makes it unnecessary to live under the weight of our addiction. We can live as strong, healthy individuals. We can find inner peace and a never before known freedom.

When we are ready to see the illusions and remove the roadblocks we have placed in our lives, we are ready to begin.
