Darwin;
It is my theory that human kind is evolving once again, and that Tantra is a good tool to facilitate a faster and deeper change in people. I've always held to the theories of Charles Darwin, most especially to the idea of 'survival of the species thru reproduction.' In other words, Darwin's most controversial theory was that all animal (and by extension human) activity revolved around reproduction and raising of offspring. We eat, sleep, work, drive, surf, and play because we want to appeal to the opposite sex, keep our current mate, or take care of the kids we've got.
This means that the most important thing to evolution is SEX. Good thing to evolve around, huh?
Reich;
Wilhelm Reich bears the distinction of being the last scientist who's books were publicly burned in this country...see my previous post in the archives. However, one of the most notable theories of Reich, and the one that caused him the most damage to his reputation, was that human psychology is closely related to human sexuality, and that a healthy sex life was indicative of other healthy areas of life. AMAF, Reich further postulated that healthy sex would make the difference in many factors. This is now such common knowledge that you can hear people say "Joe just needs to get laid...." But when Reich first said it, it got him throw in prison.
So we bring it back around to SEX being the most important factor in psychology. That's two sciences directly related to SEX.
And what do you know; biology and psychology are the two slowest sciences to change these days. Maybe if we didn't have universal blinders on as a society, things would change more rapidly. However, as long as sex continues to be on everyone's "naughty" list, it will continue to dominate us.
Only thru domination of our own desires, only thru keeping in control of who/when/where we have sex and reproduce, that is the only way to get the upper hand on a biological dirty trick.
Think about it; it takes 18 years to raise a human child. Who the hell wants a responsibility that big??? It takes something that feels as good as sex to get us to even attempt to put penis into vagina to reproduce. It's a dirty trick, and it's getting us no where as a species.
We're smarter than that. My advice to anyone who reads these words is this; If you don't have kids already, stop having sex until you know you can raise a wanted kid. If you do have sex, use more protection than you think you need. If you do have kids, stop looking forward to grandkids. Be happy with the kids you have and spend all the time in the world with them. Every child should be a wanted child. Unwanted children are bad karma and extra baggage this planet doesn't need.
So, get fixed, get injected, get fitted, or get to the drugstore, but do something to keep yourself from having children you weren't expecting. All kids deserve the happiest parents they can have, and parents who don't have their shit together aren't happy.
I've got 2 kids, both planned, both wanted, now teenagers. If I never have grandchildren I'll be okay. There's nothing special about my DNA that makes it more important that it get passed on than any other DNA.
